This is the second build of the Bandai Star Wars Millennium Falcon. This was actually a challenging kit to build. I matched frames from the movies to accurately detail the exterior and interior as most enthusiastic builders of this kit would have done.. The cut away section actually took the most time to detail accurately as it required many layers of layering to get the weathered look but still showing enough detail. The shell was painted in a primer and then semi mat off white. The semi mat gave a lovely semi sheen to work over. Adding additional grime and distressing as well as oil stans and decals took about a week to complete.

I always prefer to see the ship in the landing position as generally it allows to show the functional sections in an open state like the landing ramp. Overall this was a very enjoyable kit to build and I have always considered buying the highly expensive fine models version to try a real challenge.
